Befriend Your Stress course
It's well known that stress is harmful if it isn't managed properly. There are many excellent techniques for managing stress, and this course will teach you some of the best. But it also goes beyond management and shows you how to use your stress reaction for its intended purpose: to help you achieve your immediate goals.
We will look at:
- What the stress response does to your body and brain
- Learning to relax and let go
- Sources of stress and how to deal with them
- Modifying the stress response
- Defusing your stress reactions
- Recognising and recovering from stress breakdown
- Using your stress for peak performance
The emphasis throughout is on simple, practical, effective techniques that you can use in your real, day-to-day life to put yourself in control. You will practice these techniques in a small-group setting under my guidance, and receive handouts to take home and practice further.
